The FLIR GF77 HR is a high-resolution, uncooled optical gas imaging (OGI) thermal camera engineered for precision gas leak identification and continuous thermal diagnostics. Built upon FLIR original engineering, the system utilizes a long-wave infrared (LWIR) uncooled microbolometer sensor with specialized spectral filtering centered between 9.5 µm and 12.0 µm. This design eliminates the maintenance overhead, cool-down latency, and mechanical failure risks inherent in cryogenically cooled OGI systems. Equipped with an ergonomic 180° rotating optical block, laser-assisted autofocus, and proprietary High Sensitivity Mode (HSM), the GF77 HR enables non-contact detection of invisible fugitive emissions across utility, chemical, and industrial refrigeration infrastructures.
