Description

The Fotek SSR-40DA is an industrial-grade single-phase solid state relay engineered for contactless AC load switching via low-voltage DC logic signals. Utilizing original engineering standards, this module eliminates mechanical wear, contact bounce, and acoustic noise inherent to electromechanical contactors. It features an integrated optical isolation barrier and zero-crossing detection circuitry to minimize electromagnetic interference (EMI) and current inrush during AC resistive and inductive load activation.

The SSR-40DA provides solid-state switching speed compatible with microcontrollers, PLC transistor outputs, and temperature controllers, providing microsecond response without arcing. For applications exceeding 10A nominal load, mounting to an extruded aluminum heatsink with thermal interface material (thermal conductivity >= 1.5 W/m·K) is required to maintain junction temperature within the safe operating area.
